This place is a sanctuary. We really enjoyed it here. I’m going to recommend the Emerald to my yoga teacher for future retreats. This is the most peaceful and beautiful getaway.

I booked three rooms for myself and two other couples. I have to say the service was amazing!! Maripa was extremely accommodating and walked everyone through the rooms and explained how everything worked etc…The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The next morning the continental daily breakfast was wonderful with fresh coffee, juice, cereal, pastries and fruit. Excellent hotel we are very satisfied Customers. What an extraordinary surprise to find a beautiful, inspiring refuge. The gardens are superb, the amenities excellent and the atmosphere expansive as well as nurturing. I absolutely intend to stay here next visit.

We just spent a family weekend and we were very pleasantly surprised. The privacy, cleanliness, and location (close to town) were perfect. We certainly would recommend this place to our friends.

We decided to go on an adventure, and we discovered a wonderful surprise at the Emerald Iguana. Completely by accident we found a beautiful, serene, very comfortable hideaway. The rooms are tasteful in every detail, and the staff extremely welcoming and helpful.
I’ve already emailed several friends and can’t wait for our own return to this magical place. Thank you!
(Also the recommendation to the Ranch House for dinner was truly remarkable and delicious)
What a surprise. We did not expect what we found. A true sanctuary. The Inn is tucked in a private spot, so quiet and peaceful. The grounds are so well kept, the landscaping beautiful. The units are so unique and spacious. We loved every minute of of our stay. We will not only recommend it but will be coming again and again and hope to try different units.

We were in Ojai for our daughter’s wedding and the Emerald Iguana was a peaceful retreat. Grounds are lovely, breakfast was wonderful and the room was cosy. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Stayed for a couple of days at the Blue Iguana as change of scenery from LA.
It was heaven! The perfect get-a-away. Room was comfortable and the bed was to die for. Don’t think I’ve slept that well in months. Will definitely recommend to friends and will be back – hopefully soon!!!

We stayed at the Blue Iguana Inn for three nights over Labor Day and had a delightful time. The rooms are wonderful and the grounds are well kept. My wife and I tried going to the beach in Santa Barbara but got fogged out – so we came back to the Blue Iguana and did something I rarely do at home – spent the afternoon at the pool. We had a great time and we will go back to the Blue Iguana again.
